basicUcho is a phantom-powered, high quality omni-directional electret microphone. Compared with regular built-in microphones supplied with many recorders, basicUcho has exceptionally low noise and high sensitivity. It is especially useful for recording delicate sounds and environments.
Sensitivity
Microphone sensitivity is typically measured with a 1 kHz sine wave at a 94 dB sound pressure level (SPL), or 1 pascal (Pa) pressure. A microphone typically have a sensitivity rating within the range of 8 to 32 mV/Pa (-42 to -30 dBV/Pa) and basicUcho is have -24dB, It’s a super sensitive.
